It is a 4 day long weekend for me! Yay for that! While everyone is out of the country enjoying some snow in Georgia or a visit in Jordan for some holy trip, I and my boyfriend, with our tight pockets have searched and looked for a place where to spend our holiday. Luckily, Dubai has never failed us when it comes to restaurant and chill places that everyone can easily visit.

Was slept the whole day from last night’s wild night at Barasti.
December 1, 2017 Friday
In a hidden little corner of the city, we have found a very atmospheric restaurant inside the fishing harbour in Jumeirah 1. The place is called Cherrie Blossom Cafe and Restaurant. Though you can’t expect some cherrie blossoms swaying along the sea breeze but you can definitely enjoy the scenic view of the yachts and boats floating with the picture-perfect buildings of Sheikh Zayed standing as the backdrop.
We have booked a seat outside the terrace facing the Arabian sea. The view is perfect and the weather is more lovely since its already winter in Dubai. Most of the staffs are Filipino, they are friendly and the service is fast. For only AED69 you get to enjoy variety of buffet of seafood and grills with complimentary Shisha, karaoke and use of billiards. Though prices are little cheaper depending on the meal time during weekdays.
We came in the place around 2pm and I can’t believe that we were there until 6 pm. We really had a great time eating, enjoying the cold breeze and beautiful sunshine, Karaoke and billiards.

In celebration of the country’s National day, you can swim along in the sea of thousand UAE flags waving in the beautiful Saturday morning at Kite Beach at Umm Sequim.
Evening:
Ending the day with sumptuous and luxury buffet at Steigenberger.

Morning
Since it is Sunday, everyone is at work and being the only one whose restday isn’t friday, I decided to to cook the shrimp we bought yesterday in the fishing harbour. 
Voila!My very own Sinigang na Hipon with bokchoy. Yummers!
Evening
I bugged my boyfriend to go out for tonight. I have been very productive the whole morning, cleaning and doing some errands, and I deserve caping the night out of thr house. So we went to this funky asian bar called Miss Wang in Majestic Tower Hotel Burdubai.
I have been craving for some good thai food so we ordered their Street Pad Thai. They are also serving some best pork skewer.

And being a big foody, we also tried their flat bread which one should never fail to try.
It’s just the two of us, and we obviously ordered more than we can take. But who can blame us? They have a happy hour promotion, 99dhs for every 3 dishes plus its Sunday Ladies Night, so I get to enjoy 3 complimentary beverages. So why not try everything!
Aside from great food choices, good live music played by A Filipino band makes the place more inviting for a Sunday chill out. Plus, they also have a Karaoke room and small bar inside.
Tomorrow will be a fresh new workweek after a long fruitfull weekend. Hope everyone also enjoyed their weekend holiday!
